✍️ Resolutions and Presentations
Members also voted on several new resolutions. You can review them at the bottom of this webpage.
We were honoured to hear an inspiring presentation from Chris Houston, Executive Director of the Canadian Peace Museum, followed by an impactful screening organized by VOW board member, Charlotte, of Gaza: Journalists Under Fire by Brave New Films, and a thoughtful group discussion to follow the film screening.
💖 Community and Appreciation
A special thank you to Nova Scotia VOW members, Kathrin and Ann, for joining us all the way from the East Coast, and to the new members and friends who participated for the first time.
We extend heartfelt appreciation to everyone who helped make the event possible—those who supported in the preparation and cleanup of the space, contributed food, and organized reports (shout out to Hannah, kathrin, Tamara and Catherine).
And to all who were unable to attend but sent their support and proxy votes, thank you for continuing to stand with us!
Looking Ahead
As a membership-based organization, we rely on your support, energy, and contributions to continue our vital work for peace. We look forward to another year of collaboration in peace education, advocacy, and uplifting women’s voices for a more just and peaceful world.
Let’s keep building peace—together!
