We will meet at Friends House at 12:15pm, then walk together to our location to distribute white poppies and engage the public in conversation about peace, until approximately 1:30pm. We encourage you to bring white poppies if you have them to wear and hand out! ☮️ Canadian Peace Museum Presentation Featuring Executive Director Chris Houston sharing the evolving vision for the museum– an emerging space dedicated to promoting peace, activism, and community. 🎬 Film Screening- Gaza: Journalists Under Fire Since October 7, 2023, at least 178 journalists have been killed in Gaza. That’s more journalists than in both World Wars combined. While the world remains silent, we must raise our voices against injustice. In this poignant new documentary, Robert Greenwald will expose Israel’s crimes against journalism and humanity through the lives and deaths of Palestinian journalists Belal Jadallah, Heba Al-Abadla, and Ismail al-Ghoul. —————————————————————————————————— To participate in meeting decisions to confirm board nominations and new resolutions at the AGM, you must be a current member.
