This year we hosted our Annual General Meeting at Friends House in Toronto Ontario, on November 2nd. We had members from across the country participate and tune in online! We had several speakers, sharing the work they are doing within their fields and on behalf of the organization. Starting with our CoChair Janis Alton, then Tamara Lorincz, Kasha Slavner and our new board member Alexandria Kazmerik on youth leadership. After a lively discussion, we jumped right into business. We welcomed in several new board members you can see here on the new page, then sharing what we have been up to this last year. With reports from BC, Nova Scotia, and Ontario, with expected growth to come from each chapter. There have been many changes at the office this year, as we have just hired a new National Coordinator, Vanessa Lanteigne, and Melissa Weale became the Ontario Coordinator. We also brought back the Organizing Circles to keep members more active and keep things moving between other organizations and ourselves. We are always looking for more hands and minds, and can make room for talents that come in!
