VOW and WILPF-Canada sent a joint letter to Prime Minister Mark Carney and Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand to call on them to send urgently needed fuel and supplies to Cuba. This is in solidarity with the Canada Network on Cuba and the National Day of Action for Cuba on February 21. We denounce the Trump administration’s cruel and illegal blockade against the suffering Cuban people. Canada is a friend of Cuba and should provide immediate aid to the island and denounce the U.S.’s sanctions and siege.
