VOW has 2 Peace Maker Summer Camps

Dear Peace Friends,

Canadian Voice of Women for Peace has an upcoming Peace Maker summer camp. The camps are for young women ages 15-35. Participants will need to commit to organizing two events in their campus or in their community in the coming year. This could include a play reading of 1325: The Key to Peace, which will be part of the camp experience. Participants will be asked to take part in follow up conference calls on a monthly basis over the coming year, to summer 2013.

Our goal is to support young women who wish to form a youth chapter of VOW in their community or campus. Preference will be given to applicants who anticipate staying involved. Participants may receive some additional funding support to participate in the VOW AGM and conference this fall, (in November) and/or to attend the United Nations session on women (put in the correct title please) next March. We invite young women from a diversity of backgrounds to apply. What matters most is their interest and enthusiasm for raising your voice for peace!
