Dear VOWs,

Please pass this information on to your distribution lists but also to any young women between the ages of 15 and 35 who might be interested in our very, very exciting summer Peace Maker camps.

*****please distribute widely to your lists*******
VOW has 2 Peace Maker Summer Camps

Dear Friends,
Canadian Voice of Women for Peace has 2 upcoming Peace Maker summer camps. The camps are for young women ages 15-35. Participants will be asked to commit to take part in follow up conference calls on a monthly basis until summer 2013 and to help in organizing two events on their campus or in their community. This could include a play reading of 1325: The Key to Peace which will be part of the camp experience and also to help establish a youth chapter of VOW in their community or campus. Preference will be given to applicants who anticipate staying involved. Participants may receive some additional funding support to participate in the VOW AGM and conference in November and/or to attend the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York City in March.

We invite young women from a diversity of backgrounds to apply. What matters most is your interest in raising your voice for peace!
