Equal Voice is making AN OPEN CALL for applications

Will Your Daughter Be the One?

Equal Voice has been thrilled with the interest in our historic national initiativeDaughters of the Vote launched just over six weeks ago.

EV’s Daughters of the Vote will provide an important opportunity for 338 young women (one from every federal riding in Canada) between the ages 18 to 23 to participate in two innovative events one national and one regional.

These events are intended to cultivate the leaders of tomorrow – and, of course, to mark 100 years of women’s formal political engagement in Canada.

In undertaking this initiative, EV recognizes the still incomplete and often challenging journey of women’s full political participation at all levels of government in Canada. If we are to change that, we must start working with young women today.

Equal Voice is making AN OPEN CALL for applications from young women themselves which must be completed online at our dedicated The online application takes about 20 minutes.

The deadline for this historic and unique opportunity is Thursday, June 30th 2016!
